Base: Fully treated and fully insulated timber base with 150mm thick mineral wool insulation, adjustable feet and tongue and groove board sub floor and wood laminate flooring.
Wall and roof panels: Closed timber panel modular wall and roof system with built in vapour barrier which is fully insulated with 150mm thick mineral wool.
Roof system: EPDM [Ethylene propylene diene monomer] is a single ply roofing membrane proven to last over forty years. It is seamless meaning it can be installed in one sheet leaving very low maintenance costs. It is UV and ozone stable so will never perish, and it stays flexible so it can move with the building. It has low environmental impact in comparison to other membranes. It has high durability and re-usability. The green peace publication `building the future’ names EPDM as the environmental choice for roofing membranes. The roof is finished with aluminium edge trim and a rain water gutter and down pipe.
BI FOLDING DOORS: Three panel thermally efficient aluminium bi folding door system with high protection against wind and rain. They are high quality, stylish, durable and virtually maintenance free. The security of the system is `secured by design’ and are fitted with high security hinges and hardened steel locking. The glass is tempered double glazed LOW- E. The doors come finished in anthracite grey colour. The door system fits the studio opening of 2100mm high x 2700mm wide.
EXTERNAL CLADDING: Western red cedar is one of the worlds premier quality woods noted for its attractive appearance, light weight, insulation value and excellent dimensional stability and high decay resistance. Colours can range from salmon pinks to reddish browns and will age to silvery grey if left unprotected.
INTERNAL WALLS: Dry lining wall system kit.
ELECTRICS: Fully equipped with ample amount of double power sockets and stylish lighting for inside and out. Note that all electrical installation work will need to be certified.
